BEST FEST Friday night has been postponed. Friday Night was the local groups. Unfortunately they were struggling selling tickets. Lesson learned. Up and coming bands asking the same price as known bands, yeah it ain't gonna work. Well, we can't drop the price, well not on Best Fest weekend so we are postponing and moving the local groups to December. We'll do something with them then.

Everything else is as is.

looks like i'm about to pull the plug and bow out for Best Fest 2 this year.

BUT, best fest 3 is already on the calendar, and I know some other frembers already have it noted for 2011.

However, on the lighter side, I may be looking to get to Abbey Road fest in Wash DC for a day or 2 in September to meet up with Liddypool author dave B. Dave is making his first USA trip and will get a firsthand look at the USA beatlenation fandom.

While I can't get to Best Fest 1, I thnk helping Dave B get the word out on his book (and the great Casbah and PB chapters within) is a close substitute.
