Best of the Beatles - The Pete Best Band (Featuring the original Beatles drummer Pete Best. The man who put the BEAT in BEATLES)

SPECIAL GUEST - Chas Newby. The man who played Bass Guitar in The Beatles when they returned from Hamburg Germany. Chas was at the Casbah, The Beatles first Liverpool gig. Chas was at Litherland Town Hall playing and being part of the beginning of Beatlemania. It's a real coop having him perform with The Pete Best Band.

SPECIAL GUEST - Ken Brown - Member of The Quarrymen who played alongside John Lennon, Paul McCartney and George Harrison on the opening night of the Casbah Coffee Club and subsequent shows will be returning to BEST FEST 2010. Ken will be performing at the Saturday evening event with The Pete Best Band.

Earl Preston and the TT's - Sixties recording artists. Earl Preston and the TT's lent their equipment to The Beatles and played on the same bill as The Beatles on many occassions, including The Beatles first Liverpool concert which took place at the Casbah Coffee Club on the 17th of December 1960.

Karl Terry and the Cruisers - Sixties recording artist. Karl was also part of the line up of the BEATMAKERS when The Beatles and Gerry and the Pacemakers formed a super group to perform. Karl who was a member of neither took the lead vocals that night. The gig happened only once and was never repeated. Karl is bringing his very own brand of Rock N Roll to the show.

The Undertakers - Sixties recording artists. At one time one of The Beatles biggest rivals in Liverpool. Jackie Lomax on vocals who recorded for Apple Records. George Harrison's favourite singer.

The Delrenas - Oriol recording artists. Two albums entitled "This Is Merseybeat Vol1 and Vol 2"

The Beatles 1963 - The Beatles 1963 is the side project of THE PRODIGY lead guitarist Gizz Butt. "Firestarter, " but not at the Casbah please.

Semolina Pilchard - An Italian group of great notoriety in their own country comes to the Casbah for the first time. The only group on the bill with a female/lady/woman lead singer. Looking forward to it.

Best Fest Saturday Night special guest is none other than Chas Newby. Chas played for The Beatles. Oh yes he did. He played bass guitar upon their return from Hamburg, Germany. Performing not only their first ever Liverpool show which was at the Casbah, but also the infamous Litherland Town Hall for the beginning of Beatlemania. Chas will be joining The Pete Best Band on stage. How good's that.
