What a weekend. We got there about noon on Saturday. The first person we ran into was Ed, who was deep in thought. Then to the room a quick freshen up and to the show. We got our wristband that we bought and into the celeb rooms. We see Roag and Pete, they stop what they are doing and long hugs, so good to see them. We see Dean who is the personal assistant of Terry Sylvester. Real good to see him, many of the folks we have not seen since the CCC 50th in Liddy. The the Lake People, the hospitality committee, none better, JP, Karen, Dave and Ann. gosh we missed them, a hello to Shaun who introduces up to Shirley Jones, how cool is that. we see Sid Bernstein come over and Pete and him share some conversation that old friends do. Then Pete calls us over and introduces us to Sid as his good friends, and then Sid says come on over for a picture (attached) We see all the stars there including Shelly Hack who was assisted by Luna, and Marina Sirits for Star Trek NG ( who is a big fan of Pete's, as was her co star Johnathan Franks (Riker) from the last show. We get to meet May Pang, how cool was that. Dean I and Brenda grab dinner and get caught up, and we exchange pictures from the CCC 50th. Then the all-star jam then May invited the Frembers up to her suite for a party, she is so cool, and shared some great stories. The party goes late and the next morning (later that morning) we have to hit the road. Good-byes then back to update NY. Thanks Pete and Roag for coming in. It was good to see everybody. I'll explain "lost in thought". in typical stixxy fashion, was creating plans C, B and A on how to prpmptly handle a problem: 400+ miles from home, and wallet, license, cred cards, new 2 month old cell (with hundreds of business and personal contacts, kids pics and vacation). Had good friends around but had to promptly ensure against identity theft, and also figure fast way to be able to get stay in touch with home and frembers during this unique and limited window of opportunity. Everything was replaceable over time here, but that Saturday I had to make sure i had done all the necessary things before moving on from the theft incident and immersing myself into the event and the friends that were all over the place. Sorry i missed getting together for dinner with you guys though. ..most of the weekend i had no way to get in touch with anyone which is why i was walking in and out of areas and different places in hotel. i just kept moving. wanted to see as many of you all as possible.

DAY 1.

See, I said I´d start.

We are picked up at 8am and off to the airport. We get there and we´ve got bags of time. We are making our plans, check in, bite to eat, maybe a beer, chill, get on the flight and then,

"Excuse me Sir. Have you completed your ESTA forms on line"

"No," and that´s where the fun begins.

We couldn´t check in and had to go off to find acomputer which we did. All we had to do was look for a huge line practically circling the building. We joined the queue and began our wait and wait and wait. We are running out of time.

Eventually I go and complain that there are people on the computers who do not know how to use them. Example, One couple sat for twenty minutes staring at the screen with people screaming at them. It was getting ugly down there. Thankfully help was sent and the queue began to move.

By time we did our Esta (Three minutes for both) and arrive back at the desk which they had started to close I might add. Any thoughts of relaxing at the airpot had long gone. We do security and make it to the plane as they are about to close the doors. This is getting silly.

We get to our seat without making contact with the eyes of passengers. The kind of eyes that say "If we miss our connecting flight in New York" You get the picture.

Sitting down I try to put my seat back, but it doesn´t go back and the Entertainment wont work. Have I really only got six hours like this.

We arrive in New York. I breeze through, but Pete doesn´t come through for ages. Not that it mattered no action with the luggage. Anyway usual and we are out to be met by JP, Karen and Justin. Good to see some of the cabinet members. Whhhooooooooooooooooosh to the hotel. In the foyer we say Hi to Anne and Dave and Pete Santora and Ed and Tony Bramwell, and Shaun and May Pang and Denny Laine. Checked in and we are ready to go. Where? It´s party time. We work tomorrow, tonight is free.

DAY 1 (Night)

So the drinks start to flow within thirty minutes of checking into the hotel. The party meanders from JP´s room to Dave´s room and back. Pete´s in good spirits. From where I´m standing I´d say the spirit was Scotch.

At some stage we end up in the hotel bar and I have a strange black out. I´m in the bar and then,

DAY 1 (Evening) Cont

And then, I 'm in a Diner surrounded by people I do not know and have never met. It's some guys birthday party.

"Where the hell am I and who the hell are these people" Me.

Had a great night and was delivered back to the hotel.

In the morning Pete amongst others asked where I had disappeared to.

The stock answer was, "Don't ask"
