thanks admin, you put it in a context that hadn't occurred to me yet: his last performance. Seeing you PBB guys, and your friends and family was all great and fine and dandy, but one of my primary reasons for attending Best Fest 1 was to thank Ken in person for what he did in '59, and watch him sing 50 years later to the exact day, in the CCC.

I'm not sure how many Americans ever expressed that sentiment to him directly, so I wanted to let him know that the Casbah story, and his role back then, was starting gain more notice in USA. "Thats all I really wanted to do on this trip ken, to tell you that, I can go home to america now.BUT there's a great party going on here buddy so i'm gonna stay a few more days !"
